Parental Risk

The Risks! Some may ask, "Why in the world would I want to do this?"

The are financial responsibilities and personal risks you take if it is provin through DNA that you are the paternal father.

Financial responsibilities vary according to state laws. In the near future we will post links directing you laws governing this area by state. But, please don't let that stop you. There's is nothing more rewarding than a child - you were one.

I have also listed reasons why, not to be found. But ask yourself that if there is a child out there that loves you and doesn't even know you. How many people really unconditionally love you? Sometime you have to be a man and step up to the plate.

Most obvious and acceptable reasons for not wanting to know:

  • I know everyone one I was sexually involved with.
  • I'm gay and no man to date has given birth.

Most obvious reasons for not wanting to know:

  • You had an affair with an intern and it would destroy your career.
  • You had an extramarital affair and you feel it would destroy your family. This is possible, but then the wives of our politicians are showing compassion with the ability to forgive. Even Jackie O' forgave President Kennedy.
  • You can't afford or don't want the potential financial responsibility.

Less obvious reasons for not wanting to know: It could happen.

  • Your child turns out to be the poster child for reasons why abortions should be legal?
  • Your child turns out to be a serial killer?
  • Your child is a burned out freak with spiked hair.

Any or none of the above are possible that wouldn't make the most proud parent. Not to mention the guilt trip that you were responsible for the child turning out the way he or she did. Well, that's something a real man should be able to deal with.

But on the other hand, your child is the most wonderful, loving person and has a million dollars in the bank?
